You can learn more about our values and beliefs at https://alg.edu.au/We are currently seeking RTO Compliance Officer to join our Sydney team. About the roleThe RTO Compliance Officer will support the Compliance Manager to maintain the overall compliance of ALG against relevant regulatory requirements as a Registered Training Organisation and CRICOS provider.About youYou have excellent communication skills, are detail-oriented, and can collaborate and work in a diverse environment.You have excellent time management, problem solving skills, and a positive attitude. Key responsibilities:Work as part of the compliance team undertaking a broad range of quality assurance activities to ensure ALG maintains compliance with the relevant regulations and standardsKey tasks includeMaintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET Quality Framework and the ESOS FrameworkWork with the Compliance Manager to implement the annual calendar of compliance activitiesUndertake internal audits and create and monitor rectification plans for identified non-compliancesSupport the academic team in maintaining evidence of trainer and assessor complianceAssist with the preparation of regulatory submissions to ASQA including in relation to changes to scope and CRICOS registrationAssist in the preparation and presentation of compliance reporting to managementParticipate in relevant compliance and risk management committees and working groups, taking minutes as requiredUpdate internal policy documents for the review and approval of the Compliance ManagerConduct and analyse internal and external surveysUndertake data analysis and reporting including AVETMISS reportingHelp promote a culture of compliance and quality assurance across the organisationAd hoc administration and support tasks as required Qualifications, experience, and personal attributesDegree or Diploma in quality auditing, compliance management or similar fieldExperience in a similar compliance role preferred but not essentialExperience working in a Registered Training Organisation preferred but not essentialDemonstrated experience in using management systems and databasesWorking understanding of VET Quality Framework and the ESOS Framework desirableSound knowledge of Microsoft 365 office suite What makes working with us exciting:Paid birthday leaveWork-life balanceTraining and development opportunitiesJob rotation and career progressionA positive culture and fun team Diversity & Inclusion We celebrate our diversity and strive to reflect contemporary Australian society in order to better serve our students.
